 Territorial Army 130 INF BN (TA) ECO Kumaon Recruitment Rally 2026 Notification Out

The 130 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Ecological Kumaon has officially announced the Territorial Army Recruitment Rally 2026 for eligible candidates. According to the official notification, a total of 69 Soldier vacancies have been released under different trades.

The recruitment rally will be organized from 03 August to 08 August 2026 at Devkatiya Ground, Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. Eligible Ex-Servicemen and eligible Ex-Women Employees of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and State Forest Department can participate in the recruitment process.

Note: Soldier (General Duty) posts are reserved for eligible candidates of Uttarakhand, while the remaining trades are open on an All India basis.

Educational Qualification & Eligibility

Applicants should satisfy the following eligibility conditions:

• Candidate must be an Ex-Serviceman (Pension Holder) of the Armed Forces.

OR

• Ex-Women Employees (including premature retirees) of MoEF&CC or State Forest Department with a minimum of 20 years of service.

Apart from this,

• Candidate should be medically fit in SHAPE-I category.
• Character should be Very Good or Exemplary.
• Enrollment must be within 5 years of retirement.

No criminal or police case should be pending

Age Limit

Candidates should fulfill the eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification. Age and enrollment conditions will be verified during document verification.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

• Document Verification
• Physical Fitness Test (For Ex-Servicemen)
• Medical Examination
• Interview
• Final Merit List

Eligible Ex-Women Employees will undergo an Interview and Proficiency Test instead of the Physical Fitness Test

Salary

This recruitment is not for permanent government service.

Selected candidates will receive salary and allowances only during the period of embodiment as per Territorial Army rules. Pension, gratuity and annual increment are not applicable under this engagement.
